Do they represent teachers and the role meant to have someone teachers trust to work with them through confidential means unless they say it is okay to release information otherwise?

We have 2 teacher reps. What they do is go to the staff meetings and tell the teachers what is planned, ask for teacher volunteers, get the teacher's opinion on upcoming events and then report back to the executive board.

Hi! Just wanted to say we do have a teacher liaison. She is great. she comes to all the meetings and gives us insight from the teacher side. She reviews the minutes with the other teachers and lets us know when they have suggestions. One sad thing is she's retiring and i don't know who could ever take her place.

How many organizations have a "teacher liaison" position and what is their role in the PTO?
