Teachers Ask PTO for Money During School Year

11 years 2 months ago #162631 by JJ
Apparently, our principal and teachers asked the PTO for $1000 for construction paper during the middle of the school year. The PTO is trying to raise a large amount of money for the tech department. I am surprised they are coming to the PTO to ask for this money when they could as the district for it. Are requests like this being made of your PTO? It seems very strange to me. It is not a huge amount of money and it's for paper which the district should provide money for. What does you PTO give money to the school for just out of the blue? Apparently, the PTO took a quick vote and the paper request was approved. Just like that! What do you think?
