Our intermediate school, 5th and 6th grade, along with all district schools, have until January 2015 to replace all non-commercial refrigerators that are present (in teacher break rooms/work rooms, one in each wing; in school office/copy room) with COMMERCIAL refrigerators or refrigerator/freezers.

The principal has come to the PTO asking if we have any ideas where funding for such large purchases can come from. We already have committed the major project in the budget to fund technology. But we want to help come up with ideas for the principal.

Anyone know anything about small commercial refrigerators, the size of an ordinary residential/domestic one? I've only seen them mostly as big, restaurant-sized commercial appliances. These school rooms do not have the room for large refrigerators like that. Nor, is there money to purchase anything like that.
