LOVE Big Kahuna. Catalog Sales rep is the BEST. Just launched ours for the 2nd year in a row with them.

This has been the worst customer service experience ever. If you place a online order and you don't get the good luck in emailing and calling. You will get no one to email you back or answer your calls. This is by far the WORST fundraiser program. Poor customer service, I guess that isn't included in their program.

Our school just wrapped up doing a fundraiser with Big Kahuna Fundraising. Everything was going great until it came down to the Hummer Limo ride and lunch for the students.

I was excited for this fundraiser because the company offerred so many different items and a Hummer limo ride to lunch (provided by the fundraiser company) for those students who sold a minimum of 15 items! I must say I was very pleased with the organization, communication, and pleasant personality our rep had AT the beginning! She had a wonderful kick-off presentation for the students, provided advertising, and even handled the delivery (packaging, organizing, pick up, etc.). By the end of the delivery (held on a Friday), the rep advised me that the limo was booked (we chose the date 2 weeks in advance) and that the restaurant where the students were going to eat was all arranged.

Limo ride to Lunch day came the following Tuesday and was supposed to start at 11:00AM.....No limo in sight. We had set up a schedule for each grade level to go at a certain time keeping it as close to their normal lunch schedule as possible. After calling our rep several times we finally got in touch with her and she tried contacting the limo company to find out what was going on. At 12:15PM, the Hummer limo finally showed up to the school. By this time, 3 grade levels were suppposed to have gone to lunch already. To make matters even worse, the driver was sloppily dressed, the limo was dirty, and a student found beer salt in the limo. Come to find out that the limo had just been booked that morning.

Today was the last day before Winter Break, and while in my son's winter party, I was told one of the restaurant employees was in the front office wanting payment for all the students who ate at the restaurant!! Being the Fundraising Coordinator for PTO, I went to the front to find out what was going on (since the fundraising company was supposed to have paid for this). I called our rep again, no answer. Our PTO President and VP tried calling the rep as well, no answer. Before I was going to pay the restaurant out of my own pocket for the lunch, I called to speak with the manager of the restaurant to find out what the original arrangements were and she then told me our rep had just called and paid the bill so everything was clear. The PTO VP got an apology via text message from our rep. The President nor myself have yet to get a response.

I have worked with Big Kahuna in the Fort Worth area a few times. Doug was our rep. He has a great team and offers full service. His incentives are good. If you run into a glitch, he will fix and make it right immediately. I am planning to use him again this year at a new school I am at. His contact info is the same as listed in an above post or he now has a website up.

It's a real fundraising company. My daughters' school in Mesquite, TX used the company for their spring fundraiser this year. They are located out of Arlington TX, at least the company they used was from Arlington.
