Artwork Fundraiser Recommendation Needed

13 years 4 months ago #155466 by Pam
I've used Silvergraphics out of NY. They are an all female company, so they are very organized and efficient. Very easy to work with, they give you start up ideas, time lines, etc. to keep you on track. I highly recommend them.

I've also worked with SilverGraphics for the last 3 years and have had wonderful success with them. The owners, Betty and Gretchen are flexible and great to work with and I have yet to have any problems with orders, delivery, etc. Our profit margin is about 30%...you have the ability to set prices and determine that.

We have used Original Works the past few years and they do a great job. We have 50-75 orders out of approx. 400 students, so I think it might be a little expensive for some, but we have never compared it to anywhere else.

WE USE SQUARE ONE ART AND WE LOVE THEM. THEY ARE SUPER EASY TO DEAL WITH AND WE MAKE A GOOD PROFIT. THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS IS GREAT AND PARENTS LOVE THE STUFF!! EACH YEAR IT SEEMS THAT THEY FEATURE SOMETHING NEW AND AS A BONUS EACH CHILD GETS SOMETHING FREE JUST FOR PARTICIPATING. FOR EXAMPLE, ONE YEAR IT WAS A FREE SMALL MAGNET ANOTHER YEAR IT WAS A SMALL SET OF STICKERS FEATURING THEIR OWN ART WORK REGARDLESS OF IF THEIR FAMILIES PLACE AN ORDER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR SURE!

SilverGraphics

We have used them for the last 3 or 4 years and they have been WONDERFUL to work with!

They scan the artwork, which has to be a certain size but not as regulated as some companies require. They have a wide variety of gift items. From mugs and t-shirts to note cards, magnets, key rings, Christmas ornaments, dish towel and yard flags. You name it they probably have it. They package the items per home room (for the most part) so delivery is a breeze. They have been WONDERFUL about the schedule. Last year we had 14 school closure days in February which created havoc with the art schedule and each time we contacted them they were more than understanding and willing to work with us to still get the pieces by our desired date (as close to Mother's Day as possible) and did an amazing job doing it.

They have also added an on line program, which we can't use due to school policy, but it seem very neat in that people can order on line from anywhere in the country through it. We have also never had a complaint with a parent who needed to reorder items after the initial order was completed.

I personally don't feel we make as much "profit" from it as we perhaps could elsewhere. (I can't remember what the percentage is at the moment... *gr*) And as a mom with 3 kids they seem expensive when having to buy equally. BUT, we make enough, the quality is great, and with all of the other positives giving up a few bucks is more than worth IMO.
