Do you use Paypal on your PTO or PTA site?

Hi Lindley,
Not really our area of expertise. Have you tried reaching out to PayPal customer support at Support: 1-888-221-1161? Let us know how you make out.

Good luck!

Hi, we are concerned about a "live link" between PayPal and our PTA bank account - what security measures/protection are in place to ensure our bank account will not be exposed to a potential hacker? Thanks for any advice...

Well in order to link your pay pal account you're not required to open a separate account. You can just link that to your main account.

Hi - I work at PayPal - if you want here is a site that tells how PayPal works with schools www.paypal-pages.com/education/

If you have questions let me know.

Tiffany--If I am understanding you correctly, you're wondering if PayPal can be linked to your main PTO bank account. Sort of--you cannot use PayPal to have the money go directly to the main account once the PayPal transaction is completed. PayPal is in itself a bank account, so all the money goes to that account first. But once the money is in a PayPal account, you can transfer it to your PTO bank account. You do not need to open a new PTO bank account in which to transfer your PayPal funds; it can be your regular operating account. Hope that helps.

Do you know of any limitations on linking pay pal to a the main PTO bank accounts? Does there need to be a separate account opened?
