If you've tried and tried and tried again, you could always use the, "this event/program is going to have to be stopped if we don't have anyone to handle it". I cringe to say it but we had to do that this year. We literally spent from last November asking, announcing, pleading, sending flyers home, etc on a couple of committees. Finally, last month we put it out there that "such and such will be no more without help" and the flood gates opened.
I guess people just have to let it hit them like a brick before stepping up sometimes.:o

I have all the officers lined up for the incoming year. Now my problem is no one signed up to Chair anything except Box Tops. What can I do to get the word out so I have some lined up for the new school year.
I havent had this happen before. I at least had a couple lined up, but never no one.
