End of year PTA Picnic rocked!

9 years 10 months ago #165848 by Rose H
Hi there!

If you are still planning your picnic, I'd say your instinct to not over plan is a good one! You can keep it very simple by asking parents to pack lunches for their kids, bring picnic blankets, and set up on the school grounds (with permission from the principal, of course!). If you have a few dollars in the budget, you could purchase fruit pops or ice creams and serve those to the kids.

Hope this helps!

Good for you Michael and CONGRATULATIONS on your re-election! :D
I have big plans for this year also, if I can accomplish half of what's on my list, it will be a good year. Wish me luck!

This years event better than any in years past!!! Over 500 attendees, and we are a school of only 165 students! ALL Alumni & incoming students were invited for free, 5.00 for adults and 3.00 for children. All food donated as well as bounce house, inflatable slide & Even a DJ!! I am looking forward to chatting with all of you on the boards, I am the Prez again (3rd Term)!! Figure I will knock their socks off this year! Plans for incoming year include sock hop, spaghetti dinner, talent show and back to school BBQ/Orientation.
