Okay mykidsmom, let's hit the kitchen. I'll even share my recipe. I always try to make something a little different for bake sales so that's where I came up with this recipe. I make them giant, wrap them individually and sell them for 75 cents each. Had a lady buy the entire basket of 24 a couple years ago! Nothing better than gooey chocolate to melt your cares away.

As for chicken wings...you've got me craving them now. We have a place in town that makes the most amazing ones. They are actually breast strips-they call them chicken lips. They make their own blue cheese dressing too. SOOOOOOO GOOD! I'm really hungry now!

Busy Mom, our principal is like that. She is the fair weather friend at best. Just to keep things going smoothly, we try to accomidate her weird requests, within reason, every now and then. We provide snacks for one PTO mtg a month and one School Planning mtg a month and sometimes I can get volunteers to make the snacks. We also provide some kind of main course for conference days. I said it before, people work late and expect food, I work 12 hours on fundraiser and don't get a thing(or my son offers me half of his banana). Some of the things we foot the bill for seem silly but when you have a budget that allows, it's good to grease the wheels every now and then.
I'm not one for hot wings, but I made some smores brownies that are pretty good.
As for as the Prez giving me cr*p, I am going to talk to the asst principal and give her the 30 eamils I have gotten since Monday and ask her for help getting this woman back in line or out of office or at the very least, serving as a mediator to resolve these issues. The other 2 moms on the board agree with me and are willing to do whatever to get things moving along again.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

Wiz of Oz tornado: some old beat up clothes... doesn't matter if pants, dress, shorts, a sheet, etc... get it dirty... sew on some plastic farm animals using long thread (so the items hang down about an inch to 3 inches), sew on some twigs using long thread, sew on a couple miniature trucks and cars and houses using long thread... you get the idea- keep sewing odds and ends onto the outfit. When done, spin around and your items will spin straight out... be sure to put some twigs and cows in your hair...

I would love some wings too! I have never been so tired of school this early in yhr season. Usually I make it until Christmas before I drop, but this new principal is killing me. She's a control freak, and doesn't like her requests for funds turned down. We just feel like if we provide snacks and refreshments foe everything rhere will be nothing left for the more important things.(p.e. equipment, instruments) Speaking of refreshments, I'm gonna need a beer to wash down the wings. They are so HOT! but GOOD!
