Gee and I thought it was just me! HA!! Seriuosly, I am so sorry about the death(s). No time is a good time but it's so hard during a time when you're suppose to be so joyous!

We build our first house five years ago and it was like a never ending visit to the dentist! The icing on the cake was the walk through and the builder's "guy" said he would stay behind and lock-up etc. None of the 10 windows opened were closed and the front door was left unlocked...it RAINDED monsoon four inches of water on my new $4000 solid oak flooring! We were already six weeks behind schedual (do they really have scheduals?) and there was no damage (thank God!)

OOOHHH and the van!! I went to the store too to pick up the part a friend needed and it was broken!!! NO KIDDING! "we can get another part blah blah blah..." Yeah buddy YOU HAVE A CAR!!! UGH!

My Mom is feeling better, she had a heart attack almost a year to the date of her Mom passing! Mom would love to see us but just can't handle being with all 5 of my kids right now.

2005 has got to be better....

Mykids, I think I may have rubbed off on you. The week before finals my Blazer died after class. My hubby just happened to be home fixing our water. It took him almost an hour and a half to get to me (that is how far away I was). So the guy says they sent him the wrong parts and we would have to wait another week so he could take his wife to the Smokies....ok, I was jealous of her. In the mean time my dad had surgery, I wasn't done shopping, a friend of ours wife died suddenly, and we had a death in the family. This is one time I am really glad that the holidays are over. By the way I am still not in my new house yet. The drywall guy didn't see fit to come over so our contractor (who is also my hubby's uncle) is finally getting someone else after a 3 week hold up, but if this snow and ice doesn't melt they won't be able to get to the house. Does anyone else wish for a dull life as much as me?

Well, I think I finally have all the wrapping paper cleaned up and thanking my lucky stars it's a year with NO RETURNS!!!

I have to share this....I spend weeks looking for and finding 3 boys bikes and one for our youngest girls. FINALLY forund the last 16" boys bike on Christmas Eve and the wonderful guys my hubby works with put it together!---remember most of this I had to do with a neighbor/friend as my van was still in the shop! OKay, the big day arrives and everyone is opening gifts.....thanks santa...you know no big deal. Then they open their gift from their Uncle (my brother). I was totally upstaged by his gift of t-shirts he had printed with his picture onthe front! OH WAIT!!! He became a firefighter this past year and he is in full gear and in front of the "big truck"!!!! It's a great picture just so funny THAT was better than the bikes they asked for! You thought he had given each kid $50!

Oh yeah....if your out there lurking Santa, thank you for nudging the car guys to get the fuel pump and alternator done in my van!!! Someone had to have kicked them in the (BBLLLEEEPPP) :D :D
