Is this a good place to vent?

Good for you-- glad to see some parents still revere respect and kindness at or near the top

We'll brink daquiri's down and check out your troublemakers when I come to check out GAclay for my anti-toxin hangover remedies. And to have pix taken with UGA (the 15th)

Well, 1 has a 5th grader, so she will be out the door soon, but the other 2 have 3rd graders and will be around.
I don't have the personality to really say anything to them, i just kindof take it and then be nice to their faces because it is a school setting and they would only enjoy it if something was ever said to them. It is just frustrating that they have no respect for ANYONE, including children. I try to think "there but for the grace of god go I". It is kindof like the mother in law thing--you learn from what you have and no matter what my feelings are on future PTO's I promise to never EVER act like these people.
They didn't bust my bubble; they more or less showed who they really are to all the others that were there. I would even respect them if they said, hey, we don't like this or that. but they simply want us to fail. I am not a title person, my main title that i care about is mom and wife and daughter. I just want things to be as great as possible for our kids and teachers. they deserve it. it is kind of funny that they hate it when one of us on PTO talk to them. you can actually see them get a look on their face when they have to talk back.
i may not teach my children anything else but lord help, they will understand respect.
well, i am going to find a bar like Shawn's.....a peach daiquiri sounds heavenly right now!
thanks for being a sounding board.

Do they still have children at the school? If not call the police or inform principal and/or BOE

If they do still have children (kill 'em with kindness) send them each a note thanking them for their time and feedback....

The Disappearance of childhood is a good read

Mean Girls All Grown Up (I forget the author, I think Hayley is right) might be an interesting read.
