Our school has decided to do a Calendar Basket Auction this Spring. I have some questions that I would like to be answered before our first meeting on how to set up one. I've never participated with one before so I'm a little confused.
1) To get more participation would it be ok to open it up to the whole school even though we have our 12 months taken?
2) If so would they do a month or could they just pick a theme?
3) Do you usually include a chinese auction?
4) Is it easier to do one during the week or on a weekend?
5) Meal ideas, Do you offer a full Meal like ham, potatoes, vegetable, roll or would you have your people that are setting up the tables provide something?
6) What do the people supply that are doing a table? I know that they will decorating their table with their theme but what else other than that and inviting their guests?
7) How much do you usually charge people to come to an event like this?
If there is anything else that I'm missing please post, this is all that I can think of right now.
