It's not too early to send out some key dates to give folks a heads up -- it's actually pretty smart!I like Gary's idea of reinforcing the important dates on Facebook, too. You'll be getting out a calendar at the start of the year, but parents are so busy that the earlier you can get the dates to them, the better. Parents really appreciate it.
If possible, we list any relevant or important dates in our last newsletter of the year. Our school itself includes a letter with all report cards the last day of school giving parents Meet and Greet dates, 1st day of school, etc.. We reinforce the information on our Facebook group page.too.
