How do you set opening bids? We are having an auction on FRIDAY, and I've been told my minimum bids are too HIGH. I've set them no higher than 50% of ARV, and I'm sure I've valued the baskets very LOW (therefore the opening bids are low too). For example, we have a zoo membership that would normally cost $71. I have the opening bid @ $35. My feeling is that if people were to purchase these NORMALLY, they would pay much more than the 50% opening bid.
