Check dollar stores. If they have rolls of the cello wrap, it won't be a very long length so be sure to compare price per foot. But also look for the big cello gift basket BAGS. Depending on the size, those work well and are a good value at the $$ store.
Also, see what the rolls/bags cost at Michael's and Joann's (if you have those stores) and ask members to use their newspaper add for 40% off to pick up a roll and donate.
