Has anyone ever gotten a donation for your auction from a local bank or credit union? If so, what was the best approach and what did they donate?

I haven't been on this website in a while (our annual auction is in April), so I apologize if this is too late...

I am in Michigan but we get some tickets from attractions in Ohio and make a "get-away" package out of it...

If you are donating the tickets, I would take them, thank you!

How did you get Madame Tussauds to donate? We are located 30 minutes or less from DC and would love to get a donation from there. I went on their website but can't find any information. Also noticed that you got the International Spy Museum, can you share how you contacted them as well?

We usually will use any coupons we get such as free appetizer or desert, $5 off meal, or a free item coupon that is usually less than $5 as door prizes. Last year we got about 25 of these types of coupons from various local businesses and grouped 5 together to make 5 coupon bags. Everyone seemed to think it was a fair door prize.

As for ticket prices we did $5 a sheet for items under $100 and $5 a ticket or 3 tickets for $10 for our larger items (over $100).
