Coffee Filter Lollipop Ghosts

Whether you're the room mom or the parent volunteer who's been tasked with bringing a fun, pre-packaged and nut free treat for the Halloween class party, these coffee filter lollipop ghosts are so simple to make...it's scary. If you've got $5, approximately 8 minutes (give or take how sharp your scissors are), and two thumbs, you can crank out 24 of these ghastly good lollies in no time at all.

You'll need:

Lollipops (we used Tootsie Rolls)
White coffee filters
Twine or ribbon
Black Sharpie marker
Scissors

Simply drape one coffee filter over the top of each lollipop and secure with a piece of twine or ribbon. Draw two eyes with a permanent marker (just be careful when applying pressure because the filters are porous and the ink spreads quickly).
