“I was approached by a parent during Teacher Appreciation Week and she asked, ‘When is it Principal Appreciation Time?’ As we were having this conversation, another parent jumped in wanting to know as well. Being on the PTO, I decided to move forward with their idea. Now, I didn't how well this would all go over—thanking the principal? I researched it and found nothing on this idea. So, I came up with one of my own and gathered information on our principal to put into a document. I called it ‘P.A.T. on the back.’ The parents that are responding have wonderful things to say about our principal.”
