I can't believe that PTO Today is 15 years old this week. We started on June 1, 1999, and I can remember it like it was yesterday. There are kids of the PTO moms we were serving then who now have their own children in grade school. My then 9-month-old son is now in high school and has three younger siblings.

And while so much has changed, so much remains the same. Our first magazine cover read "Helping You Help Your School," and that's still our mission and our passion. It may be on our Facebook page now more than on our message boards, but creating that community where enthusiastic volunteers can share ideas and get the appreciation they deserve is still the core of all we do.

Whether you've been reading for a decade or more or you just found PTO Today -- thank you. Thank you for all you do at your school, and thank you for your support of what we do here at PTO Today.
