For its fall family fun night, the Middletown Elementary PTA teamed with faculty to perform a mystery play called “Who Stole the PTA Fundraiser Cookies?” Teachers and parents dressed up as popular storybook characters such as Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood, and Aladdin. Sherlock Holmes questioned them. The audience had an opportunity to guess “whodunit” before Holmes revealed his findings. Other activities that evening included a haunted hallway, pumpkin bowling, a pie contest, Halloween bingo, and a parade of costumes. Families also got a chance to buy spiritwear and order a yearbook.
