“We have a great school cafeteria staff. Our PTO works with the cafeteria supervisor to plan events at which we want to serve food. They order and even cook the food for our events. We just show up to serve it and clean up. It makes it a lot easier for us who work, and tons more affordable. All of the cafeteria workers have children in the school, so this is their way to help out also. We then give them individual recognition for their help in our monthly newsletter. Just remember, parents don’t always have to come to the meetings to be a member of the PTO.”
