what happens when the pto members are in their last year of volunteering and their is no one interested in taking over responsibilities. what happens to the funds and the ptg?

We're going through something similar. As of right now, if there is no parent involvement, the the PTO is done. They will still furnish out the money for field trips and fundraisers, but there won't be any extras. This is disappointing, because I know the school could benefit from a great deal more.
