Who Votes?

We are holding a ballot style election for new officers. Do the current officers vote? Do the persons on the ballot vote? My thought is, if current officers don't vote because they may vote for themselves, would persons running not vote for themselves. Seems unfair advantage. Please help. Election in 4 days.

I would think the current officers should vote, participation in some organizations is pretty small. If the current officers don't vote, who would? It is like the general elections, people running for office vote for themselves, so why not? Does your bylaws cover this?

We don't have any bylaws. This is my 4th year and we didn't have any when I started and I never wrote any.
