Kids Klub

We are trying to put together a night every month where parents can drop off their kids at school and return 2 hours later to pick the kids up. Is anyone else doing something like this? What are the legalities that we need to look into? How many adult volunteers do we need per how many children. Permission slips required? Volunteer certifide in cpr?

Those are all state and local rules, so you would need to check with your own community. If you plan to do it at the school, I would start with the district office and the town clerk. The key is going to be whether the service you're offering is considered babysitting or childcare, which has many more regulations. Your state's department of human services (or similar title) is responsible for regulating childcare. If you google your state + childcare regulations, it should point you in the right direction.
