5th grade graduation

Can I get any ideas on how to generate money for our 5th grade party? Our PTO does not have enough money to donate the $1000.00 they have always done in the past. We need to come up with some clever ideas to generate money to pay for the activities. Help!!!!

We had parents donate candy and then had the 5th graders sell "candy grams" to parents during conferences. We also flat out asked for donations from 5th grade parents.
