Great American Opportunities - experience?

I guess it depends on who your Representative is. Our school has used them for over 10 years and never have a problem. In the rare time there is a discrepancy, our Rep is quick to resolve it. He's never shorted us on prizes or tried to give a different prize.

Other than checking the order forms and keeping a simply log by grades, our rep does all the tracking, processes the orders quickly, and delivers the prizes quickly too.

Great American couldn't be a easier fundraiser for our school. As a matter of fact, it is so successful and runs so smoothly we don't do any other one. We often get suggestions on other ways to raise money, but when it comes to the small amount of volunteer hours needed to run this one it just isn't worth it.

If you have a great Representative, this is an AWESOME company to do fundraising with.

I ordered magazine thru Great American Opportunities and the magazine issue I received was in Spanish - I have tried to reach them by phone and on line over and over again--without any success. I will never order magazines thru this organization again.

This is the third year that I have been involved and each year we are shorted prizes. We have to give the kids
iOU as our rep tries to get them to take a different prize other than what was offered. We are looking at doing something different next year

Our school worked with Charleston Wraps last year. Along with having a great gift wrap catalog, every student also received a second catalog that is full of practical usefull items for the home and kitchen. We were very pleased with the quality of the things that we ordered. Some of the things were even less expensive than they are in the stores. The incentive programs with the prizes, extra parties and limo ride were great too.

We just saw next falls catalogs and they are the best that I've seen. Check them out for yourselves at www.charlestonwrap.com The Kitchen and Home catalog is great! Full of practical, useful, quality items that are fairly priced.

Brackforn,

I agree whole heartedly with your thoughts. We are planning on using ClickGiveWin.com for our next fundraiser. We have polled quite a few parents and supporters and they would rather give $10 to a school and receive a chance to win something worthwhile than to purchase garbage to be thrown out.

Hope this helps.
