The parents of the (your school name) P.T.O. are once again planning our annual Teacher/Staff Appreciation Dinner to be held during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Every year we honor our schools hard working, dedicated teachers and their outstanding support staff with a dinner and door prizes. We have booked the (city) Nutrition Center for Thursday May 4, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. for this dinner. The food is purchased and prepared by the P.T.O., the dinner is served by Eugene Field’s student council representatives and desserts are homemade by our parent members.

This fund provides teachers with money to purchase special learning materials, games, and supplies that will improve the quality of education our children receive. Our teachers have been able to add to their classroom libraries and advance our children in the areas of science and math with wonderful interactive games. I am in desperate need of a donation letter for a church program for the youth. Instead of Halloween, I am planning a Glory night not only for our youth, but area youth as well. Does anyone have any examples of a Donation letter that I may use as an example.
