The Greenbelt (MD.) Middle School PTA partnered with a local dance studio for a community Day of Dance. The studio sent instructors to teach an hour each of Zumba, jazz, creative movement, and hip-hop. Planners invited the whole community and had participants ranging in age from 4 to 55, some who stayed for one workshop, and others for the entire four-hour event. PTA leaders say it was a good way to get new visitors to the school and to create positive links with the wider community.
