Someone Made a Costco-Themed Trunk or Treat for Their School and We’re Sold
Someone turned their Trunk or Treat setup into a Costco sample station, and honestly, we’re impressed. Here's how to do it!
We’ve seen some pretty creative Trunk or Treat ideas, but this one from TikTok creator @madtastik stopped us in our TikTok-scrolling tracks:

If you're on the PTO, there's a good chance you know your local membership warehouse club inside and out, and you've got the "free sample" routine down, too: walk up, grab a tiny cup of something delicious, and immediately wonder if it would be rude to circle back for another one. Now imagine that same experience...but at your school's Trunk or Treat!
TikTok creator @madtastik shared how one parent at her school's Trunk or Treat turned her car into a mini Costco free sample station, and honestly, the idea is pretty genius and easy to set up! Set out plastic cups of bite-size candies, make an over-the-top “FREE SAMPLES!” sign, and have your volunteers offer treats with the enthusiasm of a Costco employee who really, really wants you to try the chicken sausage Snickers. Don't forget the red aprons, name tags, and hairnets!
You can also PTO-ify this easy Trunk or Treat theme to get more families interested in the PTO. For example, hand out tickets that say, “GOOD FOR ONE PTO MEETING! Try it. You might like it!” You never know what great ideas (and future volunteers) you'll find when you give families a fun way to jump in!

The best Trunk or Treat ideas don't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's just about taking something familiar and giving it a funny little twist. So if your PTO is looking for a way to make this year's event a little more memorable, consider this your sign!
