If your PTO is looking for fun, budget-friendly Teacher Appreciation Week ideas to boost staff morale, try a teacher appreciation card share station!
Sahuaro PTA in Phoenix, Arizona, set up a teacher appreciation card share station for the school's 116 staff members. The PTA supplied a variety of blank thank you cards and pens, and encouraged teachers and staff to pick a card and write a note of gratitude for another staff member. The PTA's instructions were simple: "Take and share with those who care! 💗 PTA". To ensure everyone received a thank you card, Sahuaro PTA personally wrote out a card for each staff member. Below, we round up everything the Sahuaro PTA used to create this unforgettable display of gratitude for teachers and staff members. The best part? It cost less than $120. (We like the sound of that!)
This idea could also be easily adapted to include the rest of your school community, too. Simply set up the card writing station in the foyer or at a school family event and encourage students and their families to write notes of gratitude to teachers and staff.
