Who We Are
Pandabit is a service platform which enables “Cause-based Initiatives” to raise donations by procuring pre-owned mobile devices and tablets from prospective donors and donating the pre-owned resale value of these devices to the respective Cause. In this day and age where cash donation figures are down, we have developed a “no cost” solution to obtaining critical funding for multiple causes.

There are countless pre-owned mobile devices and tablets all over the average American home; on average, over 3 per household. So why not donate something that you aren’t using anymore to a good cause? Causes challenge their followers via social media posts that include a link to their custom Panda Challenge page. This enables the owner of the Cause to use his or her social media influence to spread the word of the existence of the Cause, and track the devices which have already been donated.

There are multiple benefits that can be reaped from donating a device to a Pandabit Challenge. As previously stated, we have developed a “no cost” solution to the donation process. What does this mean for a donor? Well, it means that you will be donating a previously owned device instead of actual money because, let’s be honest, it’s much easier to let go of an old phone than $50. Another huge benefit that comes from the reselling of old mobile devices and tablets is the well-being that is done to the ecosystem. By discarding or recycling old devices, they could very well be discarded of improperly. By donating to a Pandabit Challenge, not only will the value of the device go to a good cause, but by not discarding of the device, the ecosystem remains free of hazardous toxins that can leach into the environment if discarded in landfills.

What We Do
Our model is simple - we partner with Causes directly, they promote our platform to all their contributors, partners, donors and more, and we assist in marketing and promotion of the cause, as well as providing a technology and web-based platform to facilitate all donation transactions by pushing out a custom URL-link on behalf of the Cause. After that, the donor will register, select their device to donate, add their mailing address, and we will send them a pre-paid postage package for the donor to place their device in. Once we’ve received it, we will process it and gather types of devices in bulk so that in 30-60 days we can resell the devices through our network of buyers, and the Cause receives 50% of the resale value.
