To Tarrytown parent:

There are lots of local places where you live to approach. What about Sleepy Hollow, Kykuit, Elmsford skating rink, etc. Isn't there a go-kart place close to Mt. Kisco? I'm on Long Island and those places came to mind.

If you have a PostNet nearby check with the owner maybe he will donate a fathead for the event.

I have gotten a couple of local museums that used bidding to good to donate but I had no luck with the national companies.

I don't bother with any organization that uses Bidding for Good. I've never gotten anything over the past 5 years. As for DonationX, that's not a problem. But some sports teams one donate once every 12 months too. Be sure to read their policy.
