“Once a month, we have a Spirit Day where the kids are supposed to wear a school shirt or school colors. In trying to come up with some ideas this year for the winning classroom, a new PTA mom mentioned a ‘spirit Fish.’ Now, the winning Spirit Day class gets to take care of the betta fish for one month in their classroom. The fish is named Tiger since we are the Broken Arrow Tigers. What a great way to get the kids excited and to add to their learning experience!”
