Saving Trees

At Mason-Rice Elementary in Newton, Mass., the PTO’s ability to mobilize students and parents in their community has led to an impressive roster of achievements. One such activity was a catalog-canceling initiative that resulted in the cancellation of more than 1,900 catalogs, saving at least five trees.
