Question: conflict of interest?

Can I be on the executive board for my children's Elementary and Middle school? Not sure if there are any rules about that.

The rules are set by the individual schools -- specifically the PTO bylaws for each group. But it would be very unusual for PTO bylaws to address that specific situation. I say if you're willing to put in the time and effort to be on both boards, that's great and the schools should welcome your help.
