In the last 6 months I've probably shared copies of our by-laws with at least 25 PTOs from this forum (via email requests). Like many of you, we looked at several versions from other organizations and finally picked one and customized it for ourselves. However, now we are completing our first year of "living" with the bylaws and starting to see areas where they need to be tweaked. We are deciding changes for adoption at our general meeting in May. I'd like to correspond with any of you who may have used ours (Northwest Elementary in Texas) as the basis for your new by-laws.
