Needed: ByLaws Format

Page: 1

Hi. I am a newly elected President. I found out last Friday that our PTO has NO bylaws. I have been involved with other schools that were PTA's in the past and they have always had bylaws. I want to create a set of bylaws for this PTO over the summer to be presented to the parents at back to school night. Does anyone have a "blank" format of bylaws that I could use? Or could I review some of yours to give us an idea of what we are looking for?

Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Barb

Hi Barb-
Boy did you come to the right place! If
you do a forum search on by-laws you'll find
several copies of by-laws provided by other forum users. This will give you a great starting point and guide for you to use in writing you own set.
Hope this helps.
Nancy
