End of the year appreciation

2 Years, 9 Months ago

We had so many snow days this year that our teachers will have to come in and work for extra days after the kids are out of school. These days were supose to be vacation days of course and a lot of our teachers are very upset. So you have any ideas for an end of the year appreciation to cheer them up? Thanks

If they can't go to summer, bring summer to them.

I don't know how much money you have to spend but my first thought was to rent one of those freezee machines and make "virgin" margaritas or pina coladas in it. Decorate the lounge with sunshines and beachy things.

Have a BBQ outside and let them enjoy a picnic during lunch. Hot dogs and watermelon slices and a big pitcher of lemonade. Nothing says summer more than that.

Call a local ice cream truck vendor and have them stop by the school and ring the bell. Have all the teachers come out and get ice cream of their choice!

BBQ hotdogs & provide salads for a summer treat

Plant a flower in a foam cup to cheer up their desks (maybe have some kids write Thank You on the cup)

Play music over the loud speaker during the day and set up an Island Station in the main lobby or lounge with snacks and frozen drinks
