Citizenship Rewards-Grades 3-5

Our citizenship program is handled by the school (except we help them redeem the rewards). Basically there is a theme each month (following the rules, respecting others, etc...) and the teaching staff hand out "citizen slips" to each student they observe following good behavior. They also try to let the parents know what the theme is each month. Then, quarterly, the PTO sponsors a "school shop" selling candy, pens, pencils, etc.. where students can buy items with cash or with their citizen slips.

Our school has monthly citizen and student of the month awards. They have their picture and certificate posted in the display case in the hallway, they receive a book (which the PTO pays for) and their names are in the monthly newsletter.

How about something more of a privilege like "lunch with the principal" or picture in the display case?

Please give me ideas for what your school does for students with good citizenship in Grades 3-5. We do citizenship weekly for Grades k-2 and the student receives a pencil, sticker and certificate. We feel Grades 3-5 should receive something more, especially since their good citizenship is done on a monthly basis to qualify and celebrated every nine weeks. Thanks for any input!
