Would love ideas to help get Junior High Students involved. Made signs last year of just box tops for our before school get togethers. You wouldn't believe the parents that didn't know our school took them.

Hi,

Would love to hear more about what folks are doing to give box tops that final push before the end of the year. Thought I would also mention that we have tons of springtime Box Tops collection sheets in our File Exchange, like this one one on spring ice creams: www.ptotoday.com/filesharing/document/13...ction-sheet-25-count , and this summertime one: www.ptotoday.com/filesharing/document/12...you-remember-to-clip

Hope this helps!

At our middle school PTO, the winning homeroom in each grade gets their lunch period extended by 10 minutes. It doesn't cost anything and the kids LOVE it.

I would try companies for donations like McDonalds/Burger King for free fries, 7-11 for slurpies, movie places for free rentals, kid friendlyrestaurants for kids meals, arcades, any place that has something small that kids like and would bring business in would benefit the company and I would mention that. I am planning on doing this myself and making a sheet that has 3 spots to put 10 Box Tops each and each completed spot would be 1 raffle ticket.
Also, sometimes I think that the parents deserve a prize too for all thier hard work so I was thinking of doing this once just with "parent" prizes like coffee, gas cards, and any other donation that I can think of.
Good LucK!!!
I will post about any success stories I have to help you even more.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for Raffle Prizes.

I run the Box Tops program, and I want to have a BUNCH of different raffles that the kids can win entry tickets to by brining in box tops. I want to do fun creative ones, like dress the principal for a day, be principal for a day, Trade lunch with a teacher, etc. Any ideas I could use? Criteria: Creative, fun for kids, preferrably cheap to free... :)
