Luau Themed Teacher Appreciation

12 years 3 weeks ago #160852 by Rose H
Hi nfnj23

I'm wondering if you'd have any interest in using a saying from Hawaii to match the Luau theme? I found this one:

A'ohe hana nui ka alu'ia.

Translation: No task is too big when done together.
Explanation: United we stand, divided we fall.

Anyway, you can check out other ones at:

Good luck,

We are having a Luau Themed Teacher Appreciation week....Looking for an appreciation quote that is/can be also Luau themed to tie the whole thing together. I am at a loss on this one.

We have a breakfast planned, the kids will bring in a flower, dress in Luau attire and will have chicken/pinapple kabobs for our luncheon, luau decor and much more, but struggling with the quote. Any help would be appreciated.

Last year we did an "All Star" Baseball themed week, complete with nacho machine, grilled brats/burgers, peanuts, each teacher had a 8x10 baseball card made of them and hung in the hallway, students and staff were encouraged to wear there favorite baseball attire, kids signed a baseball for there teacher.
