We broke the kids up into two grades at a time ( kindergarten & 1st together, 2nd & 3rd together, etc,) and they came outside. We put out a few bins of jumbo marshmallows. Everyone got to start with 2 marshmallows. When the time began, everyone started throwing the marshmallows at each other. They can pick up marshmallows off the ground and re throw them. We did make a rule that there should be no hitting in the face. When the time was up, it was over. I think we did a 10 minute time limit. The teachers even got involved. They had so much fun.

A couple of ideas for you:

Dyeing his hair for the day.
Letting the kids silly string him.
Kids tape him to the gym wall.

Good luck,

Simon

I am looking for fun things that our principal could do as an incentive to get the kids to read. In the past we had one principal wear a dress while the kids had field day. Last year, our principal read a story to the school from the roof. We later found out he his very afraid of heights. For our math-a-thon, he allowed the winners to throw pies at him. I'd like to find something fun but different for this year. He's a pretty good sport so any creative (or not so creative) ideas are welcome. Thanks.
