Sally Foster Problems?

Sorry to hear you had bad experiences. My PTO has used Sally Foster and our reps in our area are Unbelievable! They were nothing but helpful, informative and friendly. They sent 5 people to unload and sort the cookie dough orders for us. The attention to detail was top-notch. We only had two Sally Foster orders that got mixed up and they had them keep the product then sent the correct items. Any orders that were on back order were sent a like value item until the back ordered item came in. I will recommend Sally Foster to my successor.

We stopped using them as well!
Only takes one bad experience and it's over.

Another unsatisfied SF customer here. We used them this past fall and by the time all was said and done we felt we got worked over by our rep. NEVER received the catalogue to order our partner points prizes. Our "up front incentive bonus" didn't arrive until about 4 months after our products were delivered. I'm still receiving bills for the amount of the taxes on our order even though I submitted a copy of our tax exempt certificate. Sorry.....not gonna pay that. Rep scheduled identical sales at the middle school we feed into so that hurt our sales. Support people would call me and want me to meet them at school in 15 minutes for something. HELLO! I am at home in my pajamas people! A little more notice would have been nice. Sorting our cookie dough was a nightmare and the over/under incorrect orders were a big headache. Delivery truck for the SF orders arrived at the last minute but thankfully that was easy to sort. Not even planning to meet with them this spring as we plan for next year.

HUGE problems with Sally Foster...cookie dough and Entertainment Books.
Customer service is horrible...reps never gets back to you, unless of course, they want you to resign for next year.

Never liked them at all! We are done!!!

That sounds like an ad....these types of fundraisers don't make hardly any money compared to the big product sales anyways. It's just noise...something else to bother the parents with...cut this out, clip this, recycle that, go on this website, that website, order online here, there everywhere...ugh. enough is enough

Our school has been with Entertainment/ Sally Foster for seven years and this is my third year as chair.

The Partner Points is based on the schools' sales. Yes, two years ago we earned 890 points because of low sales and last year we earned 4000 because our Cookie Dough Fundraiser did over $30,ooo! I just met with my rep and know my points will expire in April then next year we will recieve a cash incentive insead of the points. I would rather have a check as I have had a hard time recieving items I have ordered or there is nothing in the catalog that we "need". This is also Entertainment/Sally Foster as a whole in an effort to curb expenses. Nothing to do with the schools, just the company looking how to serve their customers and still have money left over.

As far as the E-books go, the percentage you earn is based on how many books are sold. This information should come from your rep, that's how I knew how our school was doing. I maybe wrong, but I know we needed to sell over 400 books to earn 50% back (we didn't).

"What if were a small school and don't make that amount (what is the amount anyway) how much do we get back?" We use to be a student base of 450 with grades K-10, even then our rep worked with us and we have always earned 50% for the Sally Foster catalog sale. We may have even for the E-books but once again, these are terms to ask and work with your rep over. No they can't offer the moon, but they know who we are ultimatly raiseing the money for and want to do the best they can for us.

Now, E-book sales this past fall were bad, very bad but our Sally Foster and Cookie Dough sale look to be promising and I'm excited. Also, timing is everything. There are 10 Elementary Schools in our area, you bet I get those books out and let our parents and neighbors of our school know we have books.

There is no perfect fundraiser, all we can do is protect our group with the best info we can.
