We shop throughout the year for our school store and change up the merchandise by season to keep it fresh. We also do monthly specials on a certain item to move more merchandise. (Advertise through flyers to all the students ) We shop at local dollar stores, oriental trading company, dm merchandise and dollar days. Com. Hopefully this had been helpful.
Thank you. But I didn't mean a Holiday shop, I'm taking over school store that is open year round for the kids to buy school supplies and such each morning. We do have a Holiday shop too, so I will pass on all the great ideas to the lady that will run it next year.

So I will be taking over the school store at my son's elementary school (K4-5th grades) next year. From what I know, the store has done horribly this year. I am basically going to start fresh and re-organize, have new products, and change the ways things are stored or displayed. We will be open every morning before school starts for about 30 mins. I am looking for as many ideas as possible and also what products your store sells and what not to sell? And where do you get your products from?
