The Booster Club at my old high school did discount cards. There is a local printer who prints them for $5 & they are sold for $10. I think some of the bigger companies do this as well.

Do you have a Lion's Club in your area? Around here they put out a book each year at Christmastime. I think the books cost $20, but it is a coupon book made up of coupons from area restaurants. Each coupon is a bogo or a 50%.

These both might require a bit of legwork, but I think the profits would be worth it in the end.

Also, one year, a group set up a table at every basketball game & sold raffle tickets for a homemade quilt. I'm pretty sure they did quite well.

50/50's are always good. Your only out the cost of a roll or 2 of tickets. I bet kids would by them before/after school & at lunchtime.

OUr high schools kids have had t-shirts and sweatshirts made for each grade and sold them with the profit margin $5 for the them. They also have several "dress down days" (we do wear uniforms) with the most popular day is the Crazy hat or hair day. Everyone pays a $1 by Thursday and Friday (NO money accepted on Friday unless you have been gone for more than two days) the high school hall is the best! THey even got their Principal to partake- he sprayed hair color on his bald head!

Another favorite is singing tellegrams and chocolate roses for Valentines Day and suckers in the spring.

Oh yeah...penny wars....coin collection but as a contest between the teachers! With less than 6 very close teachers it gets exciting!

We are a K-12 school so it's hard to have just fundraiser events for the HS but they have such different needs than the others.

Our high schoolers sold cases of cokes or pepsi one year and it seemed to do really well.

They do lots of car washes and that kind of things also.

I need input as to some successful type fundraisers to do for a High School PTSA. Competing with other exisiting clubs does not leave us much room. Any ideas would be appreciated.
