We have used Innisbrook for many years but will probably switch to Sally Foster this year. Innisbrook is a reputable company with a nice product but it all comes down to the sales rep. Our sales rep started taking us for granted. We do a big gift wrap sale - we sell over $25,000 in gift wrap. Our sales rep never comes to help with promotion (we aren't allowed to have a rally but she doesn't help with anything), didn't show up when the orders were delivered, won't make the copies or staple the flyers to the envelopes, and expects us to followup on wrong orders.
The worst part this year was the customer service. Innisbrook had one item that was backordered when the orders were delivered. They promised it by Christmas and when it was still backordered they sent the buyers a card with a choice of waiting a couple of more months or getting magazines instead. No chance of a refund. We decided to pay the people a refund out of our account and withheld money we owed to Innisbrook. They got really upset - and the rep tried to make our chair feel guilty by saying that if she offered refunds it would come out of her pocket. This is NOT the way to offer customer service.
Our rep is now holding an internet orders check due to us until we meet with her to sign our contract for next year. Needless to say we will be looking elsewhere.
We have used Innisbrook for years and have been altogether very pleased. A couple of years ago we had a number of mixups with orders, for some reason, and while that obviously wasn't desirable, the rep was very helpful in straightening everything out.
The quality is very good, and I'm always amazed at how much paper you get for the money. One of our chairpeople for the sale unrolled one roll of Innisbrook and taped it to the wall below one unrolled roll of WalMart paper, with the price per square foot written in large numbers on each, for our first PTO meeting of the year--very effective sales pitch!
One of the schools I am with now has used Innisbrook for the past two years, and we have had no problems. Sales have been good, service has been excellent, and they do have a good variety of products with good quality. Pricing seems comparable with Sally Foster and other similar companies. I would recommend them.
BUT--if you're really looking at wrapping paper, I have to confess to being a Sally Foster snob. Just my opinion, but I think the quality and selection of Sally Foster paper can't be beat. Two of my girls are at a Sally Foster school, and I end up buying almost all of my paper from Sally Foster, with a much smaller amount of paper and other stuff from Innisbrook. And my neighbors do the same thing, so I'm not alone in my thinking. Although I should do without it, I also think the candy sold by Sally Foster is much better. The school that uses Sally Foster has also been very pleased with their service and selection.
We've done Innisbrook for several years now. The service and quality is great. Over the past few years they have added more and more non-gift wrap items though. I don't like it but some people do. Their website is also great to use for out of town people and they (or you) can have the stuff shipped direct. I would really encourage people to use it since then you don't have to worry about delivery, etc. Plus shipping is free if you order over a certain amount.
Our PTO is considering switching to Innisbrook for our fall gift wrap next year. What is your experience with them? Service. Quality? Pricing? Good and the bad wanted here.
