Seeking Procedure Manual

Does anyone have a good procedure manual already written on running a school event (carnival, Spring Fling, etc.)that they would be willing to share? I'm primarily interested in the logistics, the timeline, the sub-committee breakdowns. I know it would be highly customized for each school. We want to have one for ourselves, and it would be easier to work from something than starting from scratch.

I would love to see a copy of your procedures for dances. We are thinking of hosting a father/daughter dance for next year. It is something that the school PTO has never done and we are looking into it.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Barb

I have a dance planner form with a description of what needs to be done. This has worked out great for us so next year I am also planning to create an activity booklet for each event we intend to have for 2001-2002. I plan to pass each booklet to someone who will commit to coordinating that event. It will include as much as I can find, donation forms from local businesses, a budget sheet (blank if we have no prior experience with the event), sign up sheets, example flier, suggestions, contact information and hopefully much more.
Barb, you might want to consider a Mother/Son dance. We have a Father/Daughter in February and a Mother/Son in March. We have had a great turn out for both.
