Can anyone help us find a new slogan for our school spirit t-shirts? We are an elementary school and our mascot is a dolphin. We are located in Japan. All ideas are appreciated!

I guess I've never put a slogan on the spirit wear tees, we just do the school name with maybe a some artwork using our mascot.

How about some artwork showing a dolphin leaping high out of the water and have something like I'm making a big splash at XYZ Elementary, or you could just have the dolphin leaping out of the water and work the name of the school into the ocean waves around him.

depending on what you have now I would agree with LUVMYKIDS and suggest creating new artwork and new apparel. Another option is to have a mascot naming competition in the school. Have each classroom vote upon and submit one name. Then have the PTO and staff members vote to get it down to like three choices from all of the ones submitted. Then have the children vote for the mascot name. From then on your mascot will no longer be "the dolphin", but instead "Echo the Dolphin" or "Donnie the Dolphin". You can then use the name in various ways as well.

Another thing we did last year is purchase an actual mascot costume for the PTO. This, though initially met with reluctance from a few members of the committee, has turned out to be great. Now "Hunter the Husky" shows up to all of the PTO events, walks around during Field Day, makes appearances at the skating parties and even does the Cha Cha Slide at the holiday parties.

It's been a bug hit!!!

i am having the same problem. we are the eagles and we make shirts every year and this year we can not figure out a slogan. can some one please help us out......

Hi guys--if you go into the searchm mode on the left column of this screen you'll be able to type in your mascots (both the eagles and the dolphins) and get some ideas that were posted earlier.

I know Tim doesn't like us old timers to recommend the "search boards" function as it doesn't seem inviting, but I've cut and pasted a bunch of these and I don't want to bind up the boards.

Could be too that you've seen the ones I've suggested and opted for others. But more than my ideas are posted.
