Replacement for BooGrams

3 Years, 4 Months ago

Hello everyone! This is my first post here. I am the treasure for my schools PTO. This is my first year doing this and I'm super excited!!! Every year we always do BooGrams for Halloween. You know what I'm talking about? The little Tootsie Roll suckers wrapped in white tissue so that they look like a ghost. We sell them for .50 cents to students, parents and teacher that buy them for another student or teacher in the school. We then deliver them to the that student in their classroom. The kids love them, we also have a valentine and bunny gram that we do. The problem is we are all sick of the boograms and would love to find some replacement for them. We thought about the little bag of pretzels that Sam's sells but while they would be healthier I don't think the kids would like them as much. Does anyone have any thoughts on something else we could do? I would like to keep the cost down so we could still sell them for .50 cents.

Thanks!

If you mean at Halloween then I'm not sure...we have done "Sham Grams" on St Paddy's Day--cut out shamrocks that are signed and had a good luck coin attached...they went well...d

What about going with a fall theme and dropping leaves? You can cut out leaf shapes in fall colors, punch a hole near the base of the leaf, run a short length of yarn or ribbon through the hole and knot it, then tie little bags of candy corn mixed with peanuts and pretzels to the other end. When they get delivered you can drop them from above onto the recipient's desk.

That is a very cute idea. Thanks! I also like the St. Patty's day thing as well. We have never done one for that holiday.

There are companies that sell chocolate pops and often they are holiday themed. We sell these at Valentines and they are roses. I believe that they have witches, ghosts, etc...

They come individually wrapped and there are various flavors. We charge a bit more than you are looking at though. $1, where 50 cents in profit.
