I just wanted to share a great use that our PTo has found for the online scheduling program at www.doodle.com. With a "Doodle," you can set up a poll to find out when people are available for various meeting times, and it works great for communities that are "wired." Check it out at www.doodle.com

Our PTO has expanded its use to include things like teacher appreciation luncheons. We set the "time slots" for various categories of meal contributions: Hot Dish, Beverages, Salad, Bread, Dessert, etc. Then we email the link to our school community and people sign up online to bring their contribution. It works really well for us, and I thought I'd share it in case others find it equally useful.
